Before your first visit to Nelson Chiropractic, we’ll send you a link to our online registration forms. Please complete these as thoroughly as possible before you come in. Also, we ask that you submit your insurance information for verification purposes. Onboarding is a two-visit process.

The Initial Consultation

When you arrive at our office, you’ll receive a warm welcome. We know your time is important; we’ll make every effort to take care of you promptly.

Your doctor reviews your paperwork before your visit. They’ll discuss the information with you, and ask any additional questions to get a clear picture of your lifestyle. You’ll be asked to share any concerns and your health goals.

Next, you’ll receive a thorough physical exam, chiropractic tests, and a computerized spinal scan. The scan shows nerve function, helping pinpoint your problem areas. If you need X-rays, we’ll refer you at this time.

These tests help determine if you have a chiropractic problem and if our techniques are a good fit. If we can’t help you, we’ll make sure to find someone who can.

Please allow thirty minutes for this visit.

When You Return

You’ll be scheduled to return for a follow-up visit quickly. Our doctors review every case together to create the best treatment plan for your problem.

The second visit is the report of findings, where we’ll go over all your tests, exam results and X-rays, if applicable. Your doctor will present the care plan to you, explaining what was found and how they plan to address it. You’re unique; so is your plan. Should you agree to care, you will receive your first adjustment.

Financials

Your health care is your decision. If you decide to continue with care, our staff will review all financial information with you. Insurance coverage will be explained, and any out-of-pocket costs will be detailed. Payment options are available; we never want you to forgo care because of cost.
